Welcome to Church Street Cookies! We are located in the heart of Cedarville, Ohio, just a short distance from Cedarville University.
My name is Morgan and I’m the owner and head baker at Church Street Cookies. I was first introduced to baking as a child, “helping” my mom decorate sugar cookies in our kitchen at home. When I was old enough to actually help, I started working for my parents’ home-based cookie business as a cookie decorator in the Spring of 2009. I worked with them until I graduated from high school. Then I was off to college.
After graduating from Cedarville University in 2017, I worked for a time in children’s and youth ministry. Then I made the decision to participate in the World Race – an 11 month mission trip to eleven different countries. I returned home from the Race just before Thanksgiving in 2020. A short time later, I became the owner of our family’s cookie business, changed the name, and Church Street Cookies was born! For the remainder of 2020, CSC was a home-based business serving local coffee shops, boutiques, and filling custom orders.
In December 2020, I was presented with the opportunity to rent a commercial space in Cedarville, Ohio. Within a few weeks, I decided to take the plunge, and Church Street Cookies moved into 71 N Main in Cedarville. January and February were spent preparing the bakery for our grand opening. Church Street Cookies officially opened for business on March 2, 2021.
